Watercolor, Original Size-6" X 7"

In late summer, I discovered this ragged little mushroom
near the woods behind our house.

I found it quite interesting, because two strands of grass
had grown through the cap and back out again.
It seems improbable, but it was true!

This variety of mushroom is Coltricia Perennis.
